DrainShield is a non-custodial wallet security application developed by IBITI Labs. This Privacy Policy explains what data DrainShield does and does not collect when you use the app, website, and related services.
Our core principle is simple: security analysis should not require surrendering control of your wallet or personal identity.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
DrainShield is designed to minimize data collection. We do not intentionally collect or store the following:
- Private keys
- Seed phrases or recovery phrases
- Custodial access to wallet funds
- Direct personal identity data such as your name or home address
- Traditional financial account credentials
3. Wallet and Blockchain Data
To analyze token approvals, contract risk signals, and related wallet security information, DrainShield may process public blockchain data associated with wallet addresses that you choose to scan or connect.
Wallet addresses and approval data are public by nature on blockchain networks. DrainShield uses external infrastructure and indexing providers to retrieve this information in real time.
IBITI Labs does not claim ownership of public blockchain data and does not treat public wallet activity as private user content.
4. Third-Party Services
DrainShield may rely on third-party services such as blockchain APIs, wallet connection providers, subscription services, push notification infrastructure, RPC endpoints, and external threat intelligence feeds.
When you use DrainShield, some technical data necessary to deliver app functionality may be processed by those providers under their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Local Storage and On-Device Data
Certain settings and app preferences may be stored locally on your device for functionality and convenience. This may include language preferences, app state, linked wallet labels, cached scan results, or similar configuration data.
Local device storage is not the same as centralized storage on our servers.
6. Notifications and Monitoring Features
If you enable security alerts, monitoring, or similar features, DrainShield may need to process limited technical data related to watched wallets, alert preferences, device notification tokens, or monitoring state in order to deliver those features.
These features are functional security tools, not advertising systems.
7. Data Security
DrainShield is built as a non-custodial product. We do not store private keys or initiate wallet transactions without user approval in the connected wallet.
However, no app, website, API provider, or mobile device environment can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s Privacy
DrainShield is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to use digital financial or blockchain-related services independently.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, infrastructure changes, legal requirements, or security improvements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
